As NPI Product Leader you will be the connection and interface between Engineering, Supply Chain and Customer facing organizations focused on product/manufacturing readiness, execution and delivery. Your activity will impact approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Being the primary interface with Engineering on development and demonstrator programs. Define and execute roles, responsibilities and processes to achieve overall program goals on cost and to schedule. Focal for all aspects of program communication and reviews with Supply Chain leadership.Developing specialized knowledge of latest commercial developments. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.Uses lean approach to solve problems within projects. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college, preferred graduation in Mechanical/Aerospace/Management EngineeringStrong analytical skills and problem-solving abilitiesProven Leadership and strong team playerSense of urgency in dealing with issues and tasksProactive, adaptable and able to work with an entrepreneurial approach in a complex environmentFluent written and spoken EnglishKnowledge of office automationWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
Desired Characteristics
Significant experience in the Aviation Industry preferably in Product/Program Management, Engineering or Manufacturing functionsFamiliarity/mastering of Lean and hands-on experience in Lean improvement projectsInfluencing ability
