Become a Notifications & Process Improvement, Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this role, you'll help develop and advance the E1 Notifications lifecycle, perform notifications transactions, establish functional inspections processes, lead and guide process improvements (PI) and related initiatives, establish document and monitoring controls, and assist in the development of strategies and methodologies to support business transformation within the Inspections Organization. This includes identifying performance strengths and gaps, supporting Notifications Governance, process mapping, managing independent programs/projects, and other actionable activities to help govern and improve overall performance of the Inspections organization. You'll also support strategy development, oversight and sustainability evaluation in these areas to ensure compliance and success of new critical processes.

Lead cross-functional teams on projects/programs in the development and implementation of process and procedural improvements aligning with Inspections and corporate objectives. Develop, implement, analyze, and execute on E1 Notifications Governance & Oversight practices (i.e. policies & procedures, process maps, tactical system changes, batch notifications, etc.) to ensure compliance requirements are met. Develop program/project plans and establish objectives, schedules, and metrics to drive completion and evaluate success. Oversee the execution of key milestones, status, and quality of deliverables. Guide the successful completion of programs, projects and initiatives and may function in a project lead role. Engage subject matter experts (SME) and interface with various stakeholders to ensure processes are fully integrated and produce the intended results for decision making. May present updates to a wide range of audiences including senior & executive leadership within impacted groups.
Qualifications
The essentials
Seven (7) or more years of combined experience in project/program management, leading process improvements, business operations and/or strategic planning. Experience leading cross-organizational teams to achieve program/project objectives
The preferred
Knowledge of/experience with Transmission and Distribution (T&D) E1 Notifications lifecycle, notifications and remediation criteria, and/or California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) General Orders 95, 128 and 165 requirements. Two (2) year or more of experience identifying and implementing process improvements and using Process Improvement methodologies (i.e. six sigma). Knowledge of the IPSEC process (Initiate, Plan, Schedule, Execute, and Close) as it relates to the Transmission & Distribution system. Knowledge of T&D assets, structures, and processes to complete and support field work. Knowledge of SAP, CMS, InspectApp, and/or other field tools used for inspections and notifications work, including creating, reviewing, approving, or rejecting T&D notifications. Experience preparing and/or supporting audits and formal responses for data requests. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or other applicable field.
You should know
This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
