About the Team:
The HR operations team, endeavors to continuously build and deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the whole employee lifecycle. We are dedicated to leading with care and have empathy in mind. We strive to develop efficient and simple people processes, systems, policies, and programs. We aspire to ensure employees feel heard and that they are given the appropriate resources and support needed to be effective and efficient during their careers. We are seeking a Payroll Lead to join our HR Operations team covering North America Payroll team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a fantastic team of professionals to improve and develop our payroll processes and ensure optimal operation efficiency as we continue to rapidly expand.
Responsibilities:
- Lead hiring, training, and development of the Regional Payroll operations team in the North Americas, responsible for payroll delivery, tax compliance, and adherence to local regulations.
- Lead system implementation with a strong focus on process optimization, user experience, and change management.
- Ensure projects are delivered accurately, timely, and compliantly.
- Effectively manage payroll and benefits vendors by strictly adhering to contracts and optimization of service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Develop relationships with local government authorities, including Social Security, Tax Agencies, etc.
- Manage legal and compliance audits such as income taxes, statutory social securities, benefits audits, and more.
- Act as the primary point-of-contact for the Americas payroll team, Human Resource Business Partners, HR Operations, and other cross-functional teams to continually optimize our operational efficiency and employee experience.
Qualifications
- Advantageous to have 5+ years of experience managing a diverse and dispersed team displaying outstanding leadership and communication skills; preferably within a rapidly growing, global matrix environment;
- In-house payroll and benefits delivery experience with a strong functional knowledge of Workday and ADP Workforce Now/ ADP Global View required;
- Strong stakeholder and project management skills including demonstrated ability to partner with all levels as well as senior leadership;
- Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills;
- Ability to work flexible hours and collaborate with international colleagues and stakeholders;
- BA/BS degree required, MBA degree preferred.

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $107008 - $209380 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
