We are building a team to lead SCE's NextGen Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program focused on motivating change through streamlining and modernizing our processes/systems across the ERP landscape. Our migration to the next generation of SAP's ERP software and enabling new digital solutions will increase automation, integrate artificial intelligence, and improve data access and quality.
NextGen ERP is a large, complex multi-year program designed to transform the way the electric utility operates. This critical strategic program leverages advanced technology innovations, such as machine learning and business process intelligence capabilities to enable an enterprise-wide future-focused business transformation. This position will be responsible to help oversee NextGen Project Management Initiation, Planning, Performance & Governance efforts. You will serve as a key member of the PMO team and oversee the development of tools and processes needed to ensure a successful implementation of Initiation, Plan, Schedule, Execution, and Close (IPSEC) principles in NextGen ERP. The PMO Governance & Performance, Senior Advisor is expected to lead, facilitate and be a liaison/mediator for PMO with program stakeholders to ensure program stays within scope, schedule, and budget. This position will enable and mediate key stakeholders in resolving issues and mitigating risks affecting the program.
Position's expected interactions:
Briefings and strategic discussions with Principal Managers and Director with occasional interaction with VP and SVP.
Coordination, persuasion, and influence with Program leads, NextGen and Vendor leads, Business Stakeholders including Managers, Principal Manager, Director, and varied levels of leadership in Transmission & Distribution, Generation, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain.
No direct reports but influence all levels of the organization, including driving initiatives and specific work tasks for System Integrator, PMO Vendor and support staff.

• Lead cross-functional project teams through structured program governance and performance process.
• Monitor and control project deliverables, ensuring efficient utilization of project resources, and tracking systems and dashboards.
• Perform analysis that reflects actual versus planned for schedule/cost at the project level.
• Document meetings and coordinate status reports and approvals on deliverables.
• Relate own tasks to others on project and to the project's critical path.
• Maintain open communications among other Project Managers and stakeholders.
• Incorporate risk mitigation strategy and contingency plan.
• Create and/or maintain scorecard for business readiness.
• Track project goals/objectives and successfully achieving them.
Qualifications
Qualifications
The essentials
• Ten or more years of experience advising and recommending courses of action on process improvements, operational plans, or business strategy.
• Five or more years of project experience with various teams and end user stakeholders.
The preferred
• Five or more years of project experience with various functional teams and end user stakeholders.
• Experience and knowledge of Program Management functions in relation to the IPSEC model.
• Strong attention to detail with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in business administration, or another related field.
• Experience in implementing large programs or SAP systems
• Experience working in Transmission and/or Distribution business units.
• Experience leading collaboration sessions to achieve program deliverables and tracking results.
You should know
• This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
