Summary
As the Nexsure Accounting Analyst your primary responsibilities will be to process the day-to-day accounting functions within the Nexsure agency management system.
Your pro-active nature, attention to detail and quality, and proven organizational skills, will provide the basis needed to initiate and work multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You are committed to accuracy, excellent customer service, professionalism, and going the extra mile.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Ensure accurate and complete posting of Carrier and Customer payments received for Small Commercial clients utilizing the agency management system Nexsure
• Liaise with Servicing Teams and Carriers to reconcile and resolve invoicing discrepancies
• Ensure insurance companies are paid on a timely and accurate basis
• Reconcile and resolve insurance companies payables discrepancies with insurance carriers
• Ensure accurate and complete posting of direct bill commissions statements, utilizing download process where available
• Manage commission statement download process and resolve any exceptions with the Servicing teams and insurance carriers, whichever is applicable
• In cases where download is not available, convert paper or pdf statements to XML format for upload
• Other Accounting duties as assigned

• Strong computer skills, excellent in Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, system problem solving
• Must be a team player
Requirements:
Experience in an insurance environment using an Agency Management System.
• 2-3 + years of progressive accounting experience
• Minimum of 2 years in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment, and should be comfortable communicating with and working collaboratively with co-workers and vendors. Supervisory Responsibilities: none
System Requirements:
Minimum intermediate professional skills MS Office – Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point;
Minimum intermediate proficiency with an agency management system

This is a temporary job for up to 6 months. The national average salary for this role is $60,000 to $65,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
