Role Description:
As a Senior Manager within Bank of America's Network Service Assurance, you will lead a diverse team to manage, track and report risks across the Network Infrastructure and its products and services. You'll manage, measure and report critical Network Services processes, procedures and metrics, ensuring compliance with the Bank's risk framework. In this role, you'll be responsible for all aspects of risk management, issue and audit management, procedure execution, process and control management, as well as escalation and reporting. Your responsibilities will also include driving transformation and continuous improvement while partnering with Service Management, Product Owners and Senior stakeholders. As a skilled leader with experience leading dispersed teams, you will possess a deep understanding of network technologies and an appreciation for the application of processes and controls in a technology domain.
Responsibilities:
As the Network Services' owner of work procedures, you establish an inventory of process and develop a review pipeline to assess process and control performance.You communicate and escalate your findings to key stakeholders, partnering with them to ensure remediation.You are also the risk lead for EMEA and APAC Network Services, ensuring adherence to Policies, standards, Laws, Rules and RegulationsYou represent processes and provide feedback to improve service levels, service improvement plans, and compliance to requirements. You guide and advise the product engineering team while building a sustainable risk culture and programYou manage metrics and provide transparency.You assist with internal compliance audits, representing network technology through the audit life cycle and support with evidence collection, report finding and validation of issue remediation.
What we are looking for:
Proven Risk Management experience in Banking or Finance operation or technologyYou have an analytical mindset, with the ability to think objectively about existing workstreams, thereby identifying opportunities for alleviating dependency on resource.Familiar with Risk Framework, including Single Process Inventory structure and dynamics.You can manage a diverse team effectively and are able to define team goals and allocate work effectively.You can navigate across multiple global teams and stakeholders, communicating a coherent goal.You have great organisation, prioritisation, and communication skills with attention to detail.Demonstrable experience in testing environment, applying testing routines to interrogate defined controls, risk assess results, escalate where appropriate.Ability to apply intellectual curiosity and continual questioning to define root causes, timelines, responsible parties, and remediation plans.You have a good understanding of compliance risks and compliance assessments and a good knowledge of general network technology risks.BA or BS in relevant field (e.g. Telecommunications, Information Security, Computer Science), or equivalent experience.
