POSITION SUMMARY
WSP are seeking anexperienced Network InfrastructureDesignSpecialistto join its globally distributed team of talentednetwork architects,engineers,and specialists. This role will report to the Global Manager of Network Architecture & Design.
Asa NetworkInfrastructureDesignSpecialistyour primary focuswill be to both build and implemententerprise network solutionsas part ofIT projects.
MAINRESPONSIBILITIES
Collaboratingin IT projects that require a network design & implementation resource.
Developingnetworkservice design packages that can be utilised for service transition including high-level and low-level network solution designs.
Producing documents and drawings, configuration policies and guidelines, testing analyses, test plans, and risk assessments.
Interfacing between the service design and service operation teams to ensure seamless transition of services into operations.
Leading the implementation ofnetwork designsand/or providing direction and planning to others performing implementation.
Providing technical guidance andassistanceto the networkoperations teamwhenrequired.
Conducting proof-of-concepttesting and validation of new products and services.
Participating in the creationand evolutionof an ITroadmap for the networkand network securitydomain.
Seeking opportunities to automatespecific tasks or workflowsthat can help achieve efficiencies.
Participating in the technical review and change review board.
Participating in thearchitecture review board.
ACADEMIC ANDEXPERIENCEREQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree ininformation technology, Computer Science, Engineering,or related field.
At least8-10years relevant and practical experienceperforming networkarchitecture, design, andimplementation.
Vendor certifications not a requirement, proven practical experience preferred.
Experience working inlarge/global enterprise ITwith multiple distributed branch/campus sites.
Experience of working within ITIL aligned Service Management organisation.
Practical experience with creatinghigh- and low-leveldesign documentation formulti-vendor network environments thatincludeWAN,Wired& WirelessLAN, Perimeter Security,Security Services Edge(SSE), Application Delivery Controllers/ Load Balancing,Cloud Networking,andRemote Access VPN.
Solidfoundationalknowledge ofEnterprise IT technologies likeDHCP, DNS, RADIUS,Active Directory,Authentication,PKI.
Experienceinarchitecting,designing,and implementingnetworks that encompassthe following technologiesisadvantageous:
Software-Defined-WAN(preferably Aruba/Silver Peak)
CloudNetworking (preferably Microsoft Azure)
Security Service Edge (SSE)(preferablyZscaler)
Remote AccessSolutions(preferablyCisco AnyConnect)
Multi-vendor LAN switching(preferably Cisco and Aruba)
Multi-vendor wireless LAN(preferably Cisco and Aruba)
Firewalltechnologies(preferably Palo Alto)
Application Delivery Controllers& Load Balancing(preferably F5 Networks)
Identity and Access Control Policy platform (preferably Cisco Identify Services Engine)
Experience in Network Automation and DevOps practices is highly desirable.
SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES/OTHERREQUIREMENTS
Excellent written and spoken English.
Ability to work independentlywith low-level supervisionand in a global team distributed geographically.
Very strongorganization skills (set priorities, meets deadlines, multiple simultaneous projects) and excellent documentation skills.
Excellent analytical and diagnosticproblem-solvingskills with the ability of providing solutions toidentifiedproblems.
Demonstrated experience in understanding, designing,delivering,anddemonstratingcompliance with information security requirements.
Knowledge and experience in performing information security practices in the management anddelivery of infrastructure and operations.

Compensation:
Expected Salary (all locations): $61,000 - $128,900
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
Expected Salary (Colorado only): $61,000 - $128,900
