　　JOB SUMMARY

　　Under general supervision, assists in the planning, forecasting, evaluation, and reports results of products submitted for qualification. Responsible for development, enhancement and implementation of test methods/processes. Responsible for initiating, coordinating testing with other teams, tracking and completing documentation of assigned projects.

　　Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.Participates in evaluation planning, design and engineering of lab enhancements.Integrates communication industry architectures, topologies, hardware and software into complete network configurations.Evaluates new products, makes recommendations for improvement.Assists in the development and documentation of technical standards.Implements approved methods of procedure.Works on projects/systems/issues of medium to high complexity surrounding CATV planning, configuration and optimization.Provides support across organizations.Works on one or more projects as a project team member, occasionally as a project team lead.Adheres to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable.Knows, understands and follows company policy.Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.

　　WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

　　Required Qualifications

　　Experience:3+ years of product testing and evaluation experienceEducation:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experienceSkills:Proficient knowledge of RF test equipment (Keysight, Rhode & Schwartz)Proficient knowledge of related industry specifications and standards SCTE, ANSI, IEEE, etc.Proficient knowledge in CATV outside plant network design or HFC network architectureExperience with S-parameters or MER requiredProficient knowledge with Amplifiers and/or line extendersExperience with egress leakage, RFI and channel noise desiredKnowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharepointAbilities:Ability to read, write and speak the English languageAbility to use personal computer and software applicationsAbility to work in a lab and team environmentAbility to perform duties in a very fast paced environment and ability to learn new technology quickly Travel Ability:Occasional travel as requiredSchedule:Full timeOffice environmentNetwork Lab environmentThis position is eligible to work in a hybrid work model (combination of in-office and remote days)

　　Knowledge in automation scripting languages such as powershell or Ansible.Knowledge in application installation, configurations and integration of various tools.Good knowledge in operational security practices and toolsStrong Troubleshooting and operational experience.Understanding of Database systems and the configuration of database systems software.
