Network & Data Security Administrator / HelpDesk INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT: Information Technology REPORTS TO: Chief Financial Officer & ISO SUPERVISES: IT Staff and IT Vendors POSITION CLASSIFICATION: Exempt SUMMARY: Responsible for information security on area networks, computers, equipment and communication systems. Will perform risk analysis for the Information Technology Department to ensure adequate controls are in place. Responsible for business continuity planning, including disaster recovery. Responsible as central help desk for bank personnel concerning problems with a variety of software and hardware. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Experience with IT and Operations in a financial institution environment, or other highly regulated industry. Responsible for assigned user accesses and authorities within our network due to hires, terminations, and position changes. Responsible for all hardware owned and/or operated by the Bank, including set-up, replacement, upgrades, etc. Coordinates the annual testing of the Business Continuity Plan (the overall plan and each department). Assists senior management by developing risk analysis and strategic planning for the Operations and Technology departments. Analyzes and reviews new and existing applications and network security controls for evaluating and recommending security and intrusion detection and monitoring software. Responsible for keeping the IT Policy Manual and Business Continuity Plan current for changing environments. Changes require Board of Director approval. Maintains a current inventory of all bank IT equipment, software and licenses. Serves as primary contact for IT auditors and examiners. - Responsible for gathering requested information. Responsible for overseeing and management of IT Vendors, including participation on the Vendor Management Committee. Fields all user inquiries relating to hardware, network and software operations and problems. Assists in ongoing training of financial institution personnel on specific software and hardware applications, including security (cyber and general IT). Management of social engineering testing/training for the Bank. Participates in physical and logistical security decisioning and implementation with Security Officer(s) Familiar with performing risk assessments within scope of Operations & IT area. Demonstrates ability to develop, initiate, track and manage projects. Organize, schedule and facilitate quarterly IT Steering Committee meetings. Be involved in all hardware, software and process change planning. Serve as the lead contact for vendors in product/process implementation. Troubleshoots hardware, software and network problems and provides resolution or notifies appropriate personnel. Attend job relevant training to stay current on developing trends. May be assigned other duties as deemed necessary. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Post-secondary education in computer science or other IT related field is desired, or relevant work experience. Knowledge of client/server networks. Knowledge of financial institution services, policies and procedures. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent aptitude for solving business problems. Training or experience in organized documentation. Ability to review, adapt and implement policies and procedures for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. FNB Bank is an EOE/AA employer.
