As a team, we are responsible for the development of Net Zero Transition focused data solutions for Bloomberg, and work across key climate initiatives.
The Role:
As part of the Net Zero Product Specialist team, you will have an enormous impact on supporting the global financial sector's work to stop climate change and ensuring that financing and capital allocation decisions occur in ways that enable the world to reach net zero by 2050 in line with the objectives of the Paris Agreement.
We'll trust you to:
Develop global strategies across financial institutions and corporate segments to onboard users to our solutions. Lead all user engagement efforts for the EMEA region. Develop meaningful KPIs and tracking mechanisms to gauge success of User Engagement efforts. Demonstrate your understanding of climate and transition focused data when engaging users and supporting uptake of net zero data solutions. Act in an advisory capacity to our users around the challenges that they face, and how they can or could use our solutions to tackle them. Conduct user visits and training. Determine region specific needs and outreach mechanisms to increase global uptake of solutions. Ensure consistency in solution messaging across jurisdictions. Build and maintain documentation and training content to be used by users and internal stakeholders. Analyze customer feedback and market trends to develop recommendations to the NZDPU Product Manager for product enhancements. Mentor team members across the Net Zero Specialist team as the team grows.
You'll need to have:
10+ years experience in a product, application specialist, or sustainability related role A strong understanding of the intersection of climate data with user workflows. The capability of fostering relationships with new and existing users as well building an internal network. Experience leading senior level client conversations. Excellent customer service skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with our users and internal stakeholders. Outstanding presentation, training, and communication skills in English and the ability to present sophisticated concepts effectively both internally and externally to groups of varying sizes. Professional level proficiency in additional languages strongly preferred. Strong multi-tasking skills, and the ability to be a self-starter that fosters collaboration and builds on a strong culture of teamwork.
We'd love to see:
Master's degree in, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Economics, Public Policy, Engineering, Mathematics, MBA, or related field preferred/CFA or CAIA designation. Eagerness to work in an exciting, complex and fast paced environment with high degree of self-motivation and willingness to learn complex business and technology processes and actively contribute to their evolution.
