Under the general supervision of the Director of Operations, theNational Store Display Managercontributes to the development and implementation of all merchandising and display strategies. This position will work collaboratively with all departments to manage the areas that affect the look of our retail locations.
The incumbent will drive improvements to the look of our stores by identifying display opportunities, process, and guideline improvements, and recommend solutions to ensure the success of all primary
Responsibilities
Manage and develop one full-time direct report (Merchandising Coordinator).
Develop and maintain all merchandising direction in collaboration with our operations and purchasing teams.
Support the execution of smooth transitions of new floor model and promotional products to stores.
Maintain proper reporting and execution on what is scheduled for retail showrooms (i.e. core plan).
Review all store and buyer floor change forms.
Manage the auto-shipment of all new floor models and special buys, auto-replenishment, and take with products.
Project management duties such as promotional events, product rollouts, and store openings.
Produce on-camera training videos on ‘how to’ for merchandisers and upcoming rollouts.
Provide store allocations for all special buys and limited quantity products.
Work with our learning team to create effective training material for all merchandising related duties and rollouts.
Work with our centralized distribution centers and the inventory department to ensure the consistent flow of clearance, dropped, and stranded products.
Coordinate the direction and disposition of as-is merchandise.

Qualifications
Retail experience of 3-5 years, with experience in visual merchandising an asset.
Previous experience in a leadership role would be considered an asset.
General understanding of project management processes.
Strong customer service focused, with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Sound analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
