The National Sales Lead (NSL) will:
Serve as a clinical product portfolio (primary focus on Biosurgery, Energy, Endomech) liaison on behalf of the NACM team in conjunction with the Field Sales Organization (FSO), Strategic Customer Group (SCG), Commercial Education, and Marketing.
Collaborate and execute alongside the NACM team on specific GPO / IDN / local initiatives, NPIs, clean sweeps, and conversions.
Help support, manage, and execute prioritized large scale competitive GPO / IDN / local initiatives, NPIs, clean sweeps, conversions, and their processes.
Collaborate with Ethicon Marketing, Commercial Education, and functional leaders to identify gaps in current learnings, offerings, and competencies to drive incremental growth in all product categories / NPIs within the Ethicon business.
Facilitates learning anatomy, procedures, complex clinical concepts, products, competitive technologies, and business practices related to commercial sales roles supporting the Ethicon portfolio.
Complete SourceView training and achieve “Superuser” status to help support the FSO / SCG / MKT with customer data used to convey opportunities and market trends.
Enhance the Area / Regional Superuser knowledge to maximize SourceView capabilities and process milestones.
Create national targeted product portfolio GPO / IDN priorities to drive share growth and competitive conversions. Coordinate sales resources to include conversion planning, training, and best practice sharing.
Collaborate with Area Sales Leadership to develop and implement area sales activities to drive specific portfolio growth (ex. NPIs, strategic products).
Additional job responsibilities include:
Support the national initiatives and Areas through clinical and platform expertise, understanding of account management, and providing guidance and additional resources (ex. toolkit, translator tool) for key opportunities.
Ability to collaborate with Sales Leadership to target systems and achieve results through a daily action plan with other J&J associates (peers, marketing, Strategic Account Managers, SCG, Professional Education, etc.), external partners (distributors) and key opinion leaders.
Understand and demonstrate proper and detailed surgical use of our products to clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
Ability to handle customer product questions and objections consistent with sales training methodology and execute the selling cycle in a manner that is concise, professional, ethical and persuasive, and which leads the customer to action.
Comply with standards for safe behavior and demonstrate product, procedure, and clinical knowledge. Conduct business in accordance with the Business Conduct Policy, HCC, and other J&J policies and procedures.
This role requires up to 25% travel in the field and to the Raritan, NJ office.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $90,000 to $149,500.
The Company maintains a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for participation in this program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
This position is eligible for a company car through the Company’s FLEET program.

– Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
8 years of sales experience in medical sales (medial device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology) or healthcare, demonstrating exceptional achievement of sales objectives
Valid Driver’s License issued in the United States
The ability to travel as necessary (potentially overnight and/or weekend)
