Who We’re Looking For
Toyota Financial Services (TFS) is looking for a highly motivated National Manager, Data Analysis that will lead a team of managers and analysts whose purpose is to find analytical insights, to effectively tell the story supported by data, and ultimately to provide tangible business value by leveraging data and business knowledge.
This role exists to help our organization solve its largest business questions and issues, improve customer experience, and increase profitability through data-driven methods.
What You’ll Be Doing
With Leadership direction, drive the analytics agenda and lead multiple reporting and analytics teams. Focus will be to provide data-driven actionable insights, high-quality reporting, and fulfillment of various requests leveraging their teams’ analytical and technical skills based on the prioritized needs of the areas they support
With Leadership support and Direction, Develop your direct reports, their teams, and all the people that you work with to become better leaders that think critically, properly use information for decisions, vigorously seek the truth, and do what’s right.
With Leadership support and direction, Create and drive the agenda to influence leaders at all levels. Lead team to provide analytically driven insight and performance/process measurement that helps the business track success and identify areas of opportunity
Build good relationships between Data Analysis and stakeholder groups through quality work, aligned goals, and transparent communication. Influence stakeholders through data-driven recommendations that consider what’s best for the company, our customers, and our employees
Hands-on coding experience with SQL and Python
Focus will be to provide data-driven actionable insights, high-quality reporting, and fulfillment of various requests leveraging their teams’ analytical and technical skills based on the prioritized needs of the areas they support
Drive your teams to always look for innovative ways to provide value and solve problems including through insights in data, automation, new tools, etc.
Build good relationships between Data Analysis and stakeholder groups through quality work, aligned goals, and transparent communication. Encourage and develop managers to build quality relationships
Develop and mentor a team of subject matter experts and guide them in best practices and methods to insight generations and analytics
Create and communicate clear goals for the team aligned to over-arching principles of Delivering Value and being Well Managed
Manage budget to ensure high team ROI, quality deliverables, team member job satisfaction
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in any field with an emphasis on quantitative analysis including Business Analytics, Information Science, Business/Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Marketing, Consumer Insights or closely related field / STEM degree.
Relevant work experience required with experience leading analytical teams or leading large initiatives with indirect leadership to other Analysts.
With Leadership, Ability to develop, train, mentor and motivate team of Analysts and Managers through proper goals, expectation setting and calibrations
SQL and Python programming knowledge
Strong creative and quantitative problem solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Intellectual curiosity – always making an effort to understand and find the truth
Basic statistics knowledge
Added Bonus If You Hav e
Masters Degree in any field with an emphasis on quantitative analysis including Business Analytics, Information Science, Business/Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Marketing, Consumer Insights or closely related field / STEM degree.
Background in Auto Finance or Consumer Lending industries
