National Distribution Manager - Remote The National Distribution Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing daily activities related to centralized route creation for Restaurant Technologies' Oil Distribution. This leadership position is responsible for providing collaborative leadership and a clear strategic vision for the distribution department. This is a fully remote position, but you must live in the continental United States. Note the travel expectations of up to 25%. Lead, coach, and develop the Route Planning and Analysts' team, consisting of 10-12 employees Focus on standardized and scalable processes, quality planning, performance, and execution Ability to assist and become an expert in route creation Develop processes and systems that optimize both customer satisfaction and route productivity Implement optimization script updates and continually tune internal routing processes for scale and efficiency Facilitate or prepare work schedules, including extra workdays and shifts, as needed to support route creations Develop and manage a nationwide safety stock process Assist in managing truck movements within the network Develop and manage metrics at the company, depot, route/router level to identify opportunities for improvement and drive business results Improve internal routing processes continuously and ensure correct deployment by the internal team Partner with Operations and Regional Management in developing and implementing a strategy for achieving oil distribution targets. Including but not limited to increasing PPWH, reducing out of oils, balancing schedules, optimizing truck configurations, plan v actual execution Manual reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Ad-Hoc/As needed on call weekend support Manage relationships with new leaders and implement training as needed within depot distribution leaders Build partnerships with key stakeholders to provide service in a more efficient manner Required Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years' experience in associated job duties and essential functions Experience with automated distribution systems and solutions Strong understanding of management principles and practices Strong analytical thinking, effective communication, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations Travel Expectations: up to 25% Preferred Qualifications BS/BA degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field from an accredited college/university Experience with a distributed workforce Experience in a scaling high growth organization Continuous improvement mindset Depot Experience Experience with Ortec or other routing software Inclusive Employer At Restaurant Technologies, we celebrate diversity, believe in equity, and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees; we're proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
