rThe Oklahoma Medical ResearchFoundation{target="_blank" rel="noopener"} (OMRF)Multiple Sclerosis Center of Excellence is undergoing an exciting timeof clinical and clinical research expansion through generousphilanthropic support. We are recruiting two physician investigatorswith clinical research interests in investigator-initiated clinicaltrials, outcomes research, or other patient-oriented investigation tojoin our strong multi-disciplinary MS clinical care and research team.Building on strong clinical research infrastructure with longitudinalcohorts, a cadre of talented clinical coordinators/clinical researchnurses, diverse aspects of clinical research informatics and aCAP-certified biorepository, we invite qualified candidates to apply fora clinical investigative position focusing on multiple sclerosis andrelated disorders. We are currently recruiting at theAssistant/Associate/Full Professor level. Talented candidates at alllevels are encouraged to apply and will be considered.
Successful applicants will:
Spearhead investigator-initiated, sponsor-led and/or NIH clinicaltrialsProvide comprehensive, optimal, science-driven multiple sclerosispatient careReceive generous, multi-year start-up package with significant,sustained salary and research supportCollaborate with basic scientists interested in MS patient-orientedtranslational researchInteract closely with Oklahoma University Health Sciences Centerfaculty and participate in OUHSC house staff and medical trainingprogramsContribute toward and enjoy access to:vibrant patient cohorts with associated patient care andclinical trials infrastructureextensive autoimmune disease and control bio-specimencollectionsoutstanding OMRF a d ACI Clinical and Research Core facilitiesArthritis and Clinical Immunology investigators have access to a numberof outstanding OMRF core facilities, including and state-of-the-artclinical facilities. Extensive autoimmune disease and control samplecollections are also available. Pilot programs are also availablethrough the Oklahoma Shared Clinical & Translational Resources fundingstreams, as well as through the Oklahoma Center for Advancement ofScience and Technology. Our clinicians provide outpatient care with noin-patient admission or consulting requirements.
