Job Description
This position is for a Module Equipment Technician at the FSO Ireland FBE Intel factory based in Leixlip, Co Kildare.

The FSO-Ireland FBE factory is an Intel wafer factory/fab that specializes in the back-end steps of the wafer fabrication process. We support both High-Volume Manufacturing as well as Technology Development and Pathfinding activities, the positions being hired for are to support the growth of the FBE factory.
Responsibilities:
Electronic, electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in nonfunctioning equipment used in the manufacturing process.
Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and installs/assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, and rough sketches or drawings.
Setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance on production equipment, and coordinates with supplier for service and repairs where needed.
Monitors and analyses all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address all tool/module related issues.
Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
Maintain overall production efficiency of assigned tools/modules and optimizes production efficiency by tools and equipment settings as needed.
Creates reports of system failures, updates existing specs, and creates new specs that supports overall equipment maintenance/performance.
Works with Module Engineering to execute experiments and equipment configuration changes, supports data collection activities, and generally completes tasks per published procedures.
Supports Engineering with module equipment troubleshooting through data analysis and controlled experimentation that will meet or improve module availability and performance targets preventing future quality issues.
During factory ramps, works with module engineering and construction teams to ensure tools are installed and/or converted per designs.
Support activities related to the installation, qualification, maintenance, and training of new production equipment.
Drive high standards across key indicators (Safety/Quality/Output/Cost).

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred skills are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
National Certificate/diploma/degree (or equivalent) NFQ Level 6 or 7 in appropriate electro-mechanical /electronic/ electrical/ instrumentation discipline.
Experience in a manufacturing or Semi-Conductor Environment would be an advantage.
Preferred skills:
Electronics/Mechanical with Electrical Knowledge an advantage
Good analytical skills wrt defect detection and failure analysis
