Basic Job Functions:
Job duties include performing the maintenance, PM’s and troubleshooting on plant mobile equipment including mobile hydraulics, fuel systems, welding, torch cutting, fabricating, rigging, pneumatic, and mobile equipment electrical systems. The chosen candidate must possess good analytical problem solving and decision making skills. Safety is an important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards to always make safety a priority. Minimum Qualifications:
Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and scheduled and unscheduled overtime
Basic Computer Skills with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Word
Two years minimum mobile equipment maintenance experience

Preferences:
4+ years industrial mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment. Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation and must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
