The Opportunity
Firefly is the new family of creative generative AI models coming to Adobe products that offers a new way to conceptualise, build, and scale content. It's a natural extension of the technology Adobe has produced over the past 40 years.
At the core of Firefly are our commercially safe AI models trained on hundreds of millions of images owned or licensed by Adobe. We are hiring for a highly strategic and visible role to help evolve these models and the associated prompt engine. This is an opportunity to reach millions of creatives, helping them recreate the way they work.
What You'll Do
• Profile complex pipelines made of several ML models to be able to find and optimize the bottlenecks.
• Analyze the performance of DL models running on GPGPUs or accelerators using profilers and roofline methodologies
• Maximize HW utilization by changing the model architecture or converting to more optimized formats such as AIT, TensorRT, ONNX, etc
• Study architecture of ML models and propose changes to make them run more efficiently without hurting their quality
• Be up to date with the latest and most advanced model inference solutions to achieve state-of-the-art performance
• Quantize or prune models if possible
• Build tools and solutions for monitoring the results of the models to ensure the quality is acceptable during model conversion/optimization
What You'll Need to Succeed
• PhD or Masters in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Vision, Robotics, related field or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with model optimization and conversion
• Image Processing, Computer Vision, Generative AI experience is a plus
• Experience with model quantization, distillation or pruning is a plus
• Experience with DL performance analysis, profilers, and roofline modelling
• Deep understanding of CUDA and other DL accelerator architectures
• Experience with graph compilers ( AIT, TVM, OpenXLA, etc )
• Strong critical thinking, analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability
