Summary Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Air and Marine Operations (AMO), located in Doral, FL. Responsibilities In this position you will serve as a Mission Support Specialist (Generalist) planning and carrying out a wide variety of administrative, management and program planning, activities, policy research and other duties related to mission support functions. This position starts at a salary of $92,619.00 (GS-12, Step 1) to $120,401.00 (GS-12, Step 10) with promotion potential to $120,401 (GS-12 Step 10). Typical work assignments include: Processing and analyzing data obtained from financial reports in Business Warehouse (BW) and Systems and Products (SAP) and calculating projections to ensure adequate funding has been allocated to cover all expenses. Identifying, evaluating, and recommending to management appropriate human capital interventions to resolve complex interrelated human capital problems and issues. Performing duties as the local property officer, utilizing knowledge of SAP, and ensuring timely processing of inventory, disposal, approval, and other related actions.
