The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Security and Fire Protection Multiple Operations Specialist to join the team in Berkeley, MO or Mascoutah, IL.
Boeing is looking for an experienced and motivated Security Fire Protection Multi Operations Specialist to join a team of experts focused on supporting the mission to protect company people, property, and information. You will utilize standard processes, tools, and templates required to enable a compliant and robust program. The primary focus of the program is to enable effective preparation for, and efficient response to, emergencies and disasters in order to save lives, and reduce property loss.
Position Responsibilities:
Uses close-in protection techniques, threat management, protective intelligence, surveillance/surveillance detection, defensive driving, tactical shooting, self-defense techniques, first aid/Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to protect executives or other assigned individuals
Uses tools of the protection trade to accomplish assignments
Conducts and documents basic advances, acts as a support team member, creates after-action reports and negotiates for support to meet requirements with internal/external support personnel
Assists in the development of training materials using common office applications and delivers training from provided materials
Responds to emergency calls for assistance to mitigate hazardous situations by operating specialized tools, equipment and apparatus
Acts as Incident Commander and determines and implements the appropriate course of action using incident response protocols and guidelines
Completes appropriate notification and documentation
Conducts investigative interviews and generates investigative reports
Communicates with site security managers, Ethics, Law Department on the results of an investigation
Provides trend analysis data when requested
Operates technical surveillance equipment. Develops procedures to implement security practices
Develops training materials within industry guidelines
Provides security related instruction
Oversees activities to protect company assets
Defines appropriate response to requests for assistance
Consults with and advises management and functional and cross-functional teams regarding company information protection planning, development and improvement activities to protect company people, property, information and interests
Resolves information protection problems and implements improvement processes that require integration across functions to enhance operations
Provides assistance and consultation to identify, mitigate the impact of, or employ company, industry or government regulations or trends that may affect company information protection
Coordinates and conducts independent reviews, assessments and analysis of information protection actions and products for program sustainability
Consults with and advises management and functional and cross-functional teams regarding company risk management planning, development and improvement activities to protect company people, property, information and interests
Resolves risk management problems and implements improvement processes that require integration across functions to enhance operation
Provides assistance and consultation to identify, mitigate the impact of, or employ company, industry or government regulations or trends that may affect company risk management
Coordinates and conducts independent reviews, assessments and analysis of risk management actions and products for program sustainability
Schedules and plans work assignments
Interprets requirements, develops procedures and monitors practices to ensure company and government requirements are appropriately implemented
Functions as a liaison between the customers and other company and external organizations
Investigates, analyzes, and resolves moderately complex questions and problems
Assists less experienced personnel with security related task
Develops and implements mutual aid agreements with local agencies to conduct searches for bomb threats, suspicious packages and special events or programs
Provides physical protection to executives and critical resources
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options .
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience with site Security Fire Operational
3+ years of experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives
3+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project
1+ years of experience in law enforcement, security operations, and/or physical security
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with Security Fire Protection Operations policies and procedures
Experience presenting skills to multiple audiences, including executive leadership
Experience with written and verbal communication expertise for interaction in a dynamic executive environment
Typical Education Experience:
Typically, 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $79,050 - $106,950
