Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Mid-level Propriety Area Database Administrator to support our business in Berkeley, MO .
The Boeing Company is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to provide comprehensive support for its proprietary programs. Position Responsibilities:
Manage and administer classified databases, ensuring their security, integrity, and availability
Perform regular database maintenance tasks, including backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures
Monitor database performance and proactively identify and resolve performance issues
Implement and maintain database security measures, including access controls, user permissions, and data encryption
Collaborate with the IT (Information Technology) team to design and implement database solutions that meet the organization's requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, working closely with other IT teams and vendors as necessary
Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and best practices, and make recommendations for improvements
Document database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
Provide technical guidance and support to junior DBAs and other team members
Adhere to all relevant security and compliance policies and procedures
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
3+ years of experience as a SQL database administrator (DBA)
3+ years of experience with relational database management systems (Exadata, Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Experience with database security and encryption technologies
Familiarity with government security standards and regulations, such as NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), FISMA (Federal Information Security Management Act), or RMF (Risk Management Framework)
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $97,750 – $132,250
