  The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a Position located in City, State. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.

  Position Responsibilities Include:

  Develop manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives

  Develop and integrate suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements

  Review and approve supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met

  Develop tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements

  Manage tools from initial design to end of use disposition

  Investigate and resolve manufacturing related issues

  Perform producibility assessments for part or product designs

  Provide producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules

  Develop integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments

  Draft, update and review processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements

  Work under general direction

  This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Huntsville, AL.

  This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

  Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

  5+ years of experience generating/approving work instructions, work orders, planning documents.

  5+ years of experience creating Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) and assembly instructions.

  Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  5+ years of experience interpreting engineering drawings, documents, configurations, and applicability.

  5+ years of experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci) in the development and release of work instructions and non-conformance dispositions.

  Typical Education/Experience:

  Mid-level (level 3)

  Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 year’s related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

  Lead (level 4)

  Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 8 years' related work experience, etc.).

  Relocation:

  This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Note: Basic relocation is available for internal candidates based on candidate eligibility.

  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

  Summary pay range for Mid-Level (level 3): $65,450 – $88,550

  Summary pay range for Lead (level 4): $76,500 – $103,500
