About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Mid-Corporate PM Associate in Commercial Banking to work in partnership with small deal teams that provides research, analysis, and underwriting to prepare recommendations to extend credit and monitor existing credit relationships.

In this role, you will:
Focus on managing a complex credit portfolio of account relationships in Mid-Corporate Portfolio Management within Commercial Banking
Research complex financial and credit information for commercial businesses according to business unit standards for Mid-Corporate Portfolio Management within Commercial Banking
Conduct credit analysis, industry and business risk analysis, and financial modeling and projections in support of loan structuring decision making activities and determining creditworthiness for Mid-Corporate sized companies
Present recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgement while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
General responsibilities include working with risk, relationship managers, and credit to originate, monitor, and grow Mid-Corporate relationships
Specifically accountable for credit underwriting and origination, portfolio monitoring, renewals, and annual reviews
Collaborate and consult with internal and external stakeholders to understand credit needs and represents the bank in developing and maintaining and growing client relationships
Provide guidance to and assist with development of less experienced team members
Required Qualifications, US:
2+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:
Underwriting experience including advanced commercial or specialty group relationship portfolio credit and leveraged credits
Experience originating, structuring, and executing bank lending transactions and other credit related products, for critical or complex clients
Knowledge and understanding of risk management and complex credit executions related to acquisition financing and bridge underwriting
Strong analytical skills including analyzing complex data
Ability to perform in depth commercial financial statement analysis
Knowledge and understanding of debt and equity capital markets
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including using Excel for financial analysis and projection modeling
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, including ability to present to decision makers and customers in a professional and confident manner
Experience with nCino
A BS/BA degree or higher
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 10% of the timePay Range
$84,000.00 - $179,200.00
