Research be working closely with a highly experienced multidisciplinary team to The Microelectronics team at GE Research is looking for candidates who are passionate about the research and development of microelectronics and harsh environment sensing. As a Microelectronic Technician, you will be working closely with a highly experienced multidisciplinary team to continue the development of world leading technology for GE Aerospace and other strategic customers. The primary focus of this position will be supporting engineers in the design, development, and testing of microelectronic and RF devices, modules, and systems including PCB design and assembly, materials testing, device characterization and systems integration. Additionally, you will support the design, fabrication, operation, data collection, and analysis of performance, reliability, and endurance test stands for next generation RF and microelectronic systems and sensors.

Job Description
As a Microelectronic Technician you will:
Work with a multidisciplinary team of Scientists, Engineers, and Technicians pushing the state of the art in microelectronics and RF technologiesAssist engineers in the design, development, assembly, and testing of microelectronic and RF devices, modules, and systems including PCB layout, materials testing, device characterization and systems integration. Support the design, fabrication, and testing of performance, reliability, and harsh environment endurance test stands, data gathering, and analysis.Generate bill of materials and order partsUse MS Office to record and analyze data, document work, and summarize results
Qualifications/Requirements:
Associate's degree in Electronics or related field with hands on experience in the use of microelectronic laboratory test equipmentExperience with hand tools and working in a lab environmentExperience in aspects of the design and characterization of electronic and/or RF devices, circuits, modules, and systemsExperience in the design, fabrication, and operation of electronic and/or RF test stands and data acquisition equipment.Due to the nature of the duties of this position, this role requires the individual to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance; prerequisite for a security clearance is U.S. citizenship. The pay range for this position is $1,400 - $2,000 USD, weekly. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
