Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. They execute the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services; collaborate across Business Units and cross-regions for optimal TE leverage. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing a team of procurement professionals, both on direct and indirect material.
Work at the all levels to ensure that sound strategies and practices are in place and issues are resolved to achieve business results
Achieve key procurement performance objectives as functional leader: material productivity, supplier quality and delivery performance improvement, VMI solution, Supplier base optimization, supplier social responsibility and risk mitigation
Developing sourcing strategy by working together with CL-teams, deliver the fine-tuned commodity strategy to support the business growth needs
Monitor key economic, financial, technology, and environmental issues that may impact TE objectives. Give local input to the global commodity directors in their efforts to develop the global/regional/local commodity strategies that drives the shorter term/long term procurement activities
Maintain reliable and constructive relationship with existing suppliers, develop relationship with new potential suppliers, together with other functional teams.
Develop and retain talents

Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering, Advanced degree or MBA is plus
15+ years’ experience in procurement/supply chain/ operations or related field, and at least 5+ years in the Automotive industry
3+ years management experience required. Experience in working in matrix organizations is a plus.
Quality & program management as the plus
Good English communication skill
Willing to travel and work with the suppliers and peers with different cultural background
