Job Overview
TE's HR Solutions Partners function in a variety of Human Resources activities including employment and employee relations, recruiting, termination and data analysis/metrics. They implement Human Resources policies at the country, regional or global level partnering with management to drive company-wide programs and initiatives.
What your background should look like:
As a Human Resources Manager, you are responsible for:
• Partner with leadership to understand current and future staffing needs to
develop strategic workforce plans
• Analyzes trends and metrics, seeking opportunities and strategies to improve
trends in turnover, retention and key indicators of employee and customer
engagement
• Drive Onboarding/Offboarding, and Retention and Attraction initiatives
• Partner and coach managers/supervisors to develops and executes the BU
strategy aligned with company and business strategy, priorities and needs
• Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to front line supervisors
and leaders (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary
actions).
• Implement process and tools that foster open communication, sense of
belonging, inclusion, and employee satisfaction
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day
management of employees, reducing legal risk, and ensuring regulatory
compliance. Partners with legal as needed/required
• Participates in local union negotiations and administers the labor agreement
• Advises both management and employees on personnel matters including
concerns, grievances, and arbitrations
• Conduct quarterly deep dive talent assessment and demonstrate progress on
succession plan readiness; able to identify high potential talent and implement
SMART development plans for critical positions
• Partners with leadership on change management initiatives
What your background should look like:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Fluent in Spanish and English
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), TRESS HR
Payroll System, SAP and Success Factors
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; HR related major is preferred
• 3+ years' experience in a manager capacity within a manufacturing environment
is required
• 5+ years HR Generalist/HRBP related experience required; offering a broad
range of expertise within HR spanning Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition,
Compensation, Talent Management, Coaching and Development is desirable
• Thorough knowledge of STPS regulations, IMSS and NOM-035, Mexican
Federal employment-related laws, regulations and proven experience with
grievances and collective bargain agreements
