Position Summary:
Manages Media Team shoreside & oversees Media & Broadcast teams onboard Assists with Strategic vision regarding all video and content to include equipment and relationships Drives the requirement for show production during new show installs. Set Policies and Create SOP's. Overall Budget management for Operation and Newbuild Works with Entertainment team at Studio for all show needs regarding video, LED, Projectors and Projection mapping, Show Control, etc. (anything needed for theater and secondary venue entertainment) Owner of Show Control systems (Coolux, Richmond, Medialon, etc) for Theatrical venues Sources & licenses content for onboard use including media distribution to ships Oversees and communicates onboard TV and video signal distribution fleetwide Works with Marketing team to manage content use for onboard use Oversees Digital signage & interactive TV content for onboard use Works with Newbuild and Excalibur on initiatives and assists with implementing Own the guest experience for these technologies, as well as content created and operation of all digital communication channels. Direct Reports: Fleet Broadcast Technical Consultant, Head Media Specialists, Head Broadcast Technicians, Digital Content Specialists, Traveling Head Broadcast Technician Leader for new Entertainment Technology development, working with vendors and cross-functionally with Newbuild Design, Marketing, IT, Hotel Operations (Guest Activities & Entertainment, Guest Services, F&B, Onboard Revenue, etc.), Safety.

Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
Bachelor of Arts or Science Masters degree preferred Experience in leisure or hospitality industry in a team setting a plus Travel requirement: 25% A strong understanding of technology including home entertainment, digital display hardware and content, networking, mobile and broadcast is necessary. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from executives, groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to solve practical problems, strategic thinking, strong solution selling skills and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Contract negotiation and relationship building skills preferred. Attention to detail, time management, and teamwork are the main components of this role. Management and/or business process design experience, particularly in the area of creating efficient operational processes. Excellent interpersonal and written skills. Candidate must possess strong leadership skills, time management skills, and written and oral communication skills and be able to effectively with all senior levels of operational personnel locations.
Financial Responsibilities
Manage all responsibilities for budget, expenses and/or achievement of revenue targets in US Dollars Manage strategic investments in multi-million dollar projects and enhancements, such as Interactive TV, Digital Signage, broadcast TV. Manage $8 million programming budget annually and negotiate cost savings on licensed materials. Manage $2 million repair and maintenance budget Manage $4 million newbuild and revite budget for Entertainment Technical and Hotel Operations related items. Work with vendors and business units to produce accurate estimates for development.
