Editorial Content Manager
The Editorial Content Manager is an integral role on the Royal Caribbean Group Corporate Communications Team, managing the corporation's storytelling to employees and to key external stakeholders. Specifically, this position will create and manage the development of weekly and ongoing content for the Royal Caribbean Group's internal newsletter, intranet, and corporate website.

Responsibilities
Develop and bring to life story ideas that advance Royal Caribbean Group's mission and business priorities for print, digital and video applications.Manage an in-house team and network of contributors in all aspects of editorial content creation, evaluating story ideas to determine story selection, guiding distribution plans and contributor selection by story, partnering with visual teams and others on how stories will come to life, and partnering with department head to ensure work is done within budget and on time.Oversee the shaping and preparation of content for publication across all relevant platforms, managing others in their work, reading and (when necessary) doing additional text editing and/or writing display copy, giving feedback on photo edits and layouts, and ensuring projects are following timelines.Develop and edit pieces with a focus on multi-component/multi-channel content packages, working with internal partners, subject matter experts and external contributors to conceptualize and create.Manage a body of work that includes everything from weekly internal newsletters to the company's intranet, to the corporate website and social media channels.
Qualifications
8+ years of related experience requiredPrior experience developing content for a published magazine or newspaper preferred.Previous journalism experience, internal communications, or corporate communications experience for a Fortune 500 company is a plus.Ability to take an idea from concept to completion. Ability to manage multiple projects at once, on deadline.Curiosity about RCG's core subject areas and the ability to grasp new subject matter quickly.Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Pro is required. Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud a plus.
Experience developing successful editorial and buzz-worthy content for corporations or consumer brands is required.Collaborative spirit and an ability to work well in a matrixed environment with a variety of stakeholders.Ability to work efficiently within operational considerations (timing, budgets, etc.), prioritizing effort levels and tasks across multiple projects, navigating ambiguity and managing team to deliver excellence within specific requirements.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
