Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Manager Contracts Administration 2 to join its team of qualified and diverse individuals supporting its Combat Systems and Mission Readiness (CSMR) Division, specifically the Mission Readiness and Protective Systems Business Unit, as the Mission Planning and Decision Support Contracts Manager. This position can be in Bellevue, NE, Orlando, FL or Redondo Beach, CA or any Northrop Grumman facility.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the Mission Planning and Decision Support Operating Unit (OU) contracts portfolio delivering strong customer satisfaction, successful financial performance, and risk mitigation. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for the direct supervision and management of a team of contract professionals within the OU's portfolio, and new business pursuits.
The Manager Contracts Administration 2 responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Provide trusted and valued advice and guidance on contractual matters and business aspects in general in support of Operating Unit achievement of goalsBuild strong customer intimacy and employee engagement to assist with growing this important business area. This includes quickly orienting to regulations and acquisition proceduresReview and approve contractual documents for protection of the company's contractual/risk posture, satisfaction of contractual requirements, and adherence to company policiesPlan and execute successful contract negotiations and achieving targeted profit rates as well as favorable terms and conditions to assist in meeting profit and cash goalsMake decisions in a timely manner, offer guidance, and work cooperatively with a multitude of organizations ranging from technical, program, finance, supply chain, legal, export, and security. Demonstrate broad spectrum of skills - from attention to detail, to assessing macro-level impactsSolve complex problems by actively seeking information and new ideas from a variety of sources. Conduct daily operations in a proactive and forward-looking mannerBasic Qualifications:This position emphasizes skills and experience. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
