Metrics Executive Advisor
Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and in office one to two days per week). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of one of our Pulse Point locations in Indianapolis, IN, Richmond, VA, Norfolk, VA, Mason, OH, Atlanta, GA or Chicago, IL.
The Metrics Executive Advisor is responsible for supporting the company-wide metrics and reporting strategy.
How you will make an impact:
Makes business decisions based on statistical information.
Extensively uses the application of statistical methods and presents data findings to executive leadership.
Determines and implements solution for data findings.
Provides information found in data for continuous process improvement.
Mentors and coaches other metrics associates.
Provides strategic direction, technical assistance, and consultation to others in the use of data.
Develops strategy and vision related to metrics and improvement efforts.
Collaborates on maintaining and updating metrics planning and analysis tools and ensures metrics are aligned to performance goals.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires BA/BS degree in business or math related field and a minimum of 10 years of data collection/analysis experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Health insurance industry experience required.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
MS preferred.
SAS and SQL experience preferred.
Teradata and ETL experience preferred.
Solid understanding of metric and statistical calculations and data consulting/presentation experience and knowledge of OLAP reporting tools preferred.
Experience working independently and making recommendations based on statistical analysis preferred.
Advanced Certification in process improvement and process control competencies, such as Lean, Six Sigma Black Belt/Master Black Belt or ITIL Advanced Certification, preferred.
Ability to clearly and concisely communicate and present analytical data to all levels of management preferred.
