Foundational Software Technologies ("FST") group is responsible for delivering state-of-the art system firmware products, engineering and technology for Intel platforms to enable Intel's achievement of its strategic objectives while delighting our customers.
We mainly develop platform BIOS, reference code and related documentation for Intel silicon products such as next generation chipsets and processors. We are responsible for authoring BIOS specifications, creating chipset reference code and developing / supporting platform BIOS for Intel's CPUs and chipsets. We work closely with Intel silicon design teams and are responsible for all software and BIOS related issues during the planning, development, and validation stages of the program.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
Active Student from Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science or related field.
6+ months of experience with software development skills: knowledge in C/C++, Python.
Intermediate+ level of English.
Preferred Qualifications:
6+ months of experience in the industry software engineering processes, principles and product life cycles.
Competency with PC architecture or system Basic Input Output System (BIOS)

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
