SOHO HOUSE BERLIN is a private members' club and hotel in a listed building in the heart of the capital. In addition to restaurants, a fitness studio, rooftop pool, in-house cinema and a spacious spa area, the hotel offers 65 rooms in various sizes, 20 flats and four lofts. In addition to Berlin and Great Britain, there are other houses in the USA, Toronto, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Istanbul and Mumbai. The SOHO HOUSE includes the concept store THE STORE X. THE STORE X is a platform for ideas and culture. The range includes fashion, art, design and also attracts a global community of creative people to 180 The Strand in London, Soho House Berlin and Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire. The Member Events Intern will be responsible for assisting in the coordination and execution the member events programming. This role includes the following tasks:
Once the Member Events Manager has booked an event, cover with the following tasks: events promotion (upload the event online, print collateral), artist requirements (accommodation & hospitality rider), event coordination (put together the events Function Sheet, coordination with other internal departments), event coverage (welcoming talents and members, keep track of RVSPs) and other administrative tasks (collecting and organizing invoices). Prepare detailed and clear Function Sheets for every member event. Update them when needed and ensure that event details (room set-up, AV, F&B requirements, RVSPs, guestlist, etc.) are properly communicated to the necessary departments. If necessary, an Opera or Triple Seat software training will be provided. Upload member events details to Soho House’s online platform and manage RSVPs and waitlists Follow-up with event partners prior to their event to make sure all the necessary info is collected and be aware of possible changes. Follow-up with event partners prior to the event to collect feedback. Take care event partners flights and accommodation request. Fill the required internal forms and ensure that relevant internal departments are informed and updated. Manage a database of complimentary memberships and file requests with Membership team. Maintain and update a database of event partners to contact for certain streams of events. Assist the Member Events Manager in compiling member event information for next month’s calendar. Covering and hosting member events to ensure events run smoothly and obtain member feedback. Propose creative event programming ideas to manager across art, fashion, entertainment, music, film, culinary and tech verticals Collaborate with communication team to get member event coverage on social & assist with marketing needs including invites, tablet and Instagram promotions Any other tasks as assigned by Manager Required Skills/Qualifications...
Currently involved in University Program, preferably in Culture & Arts Management or Cultural Production & Communication. Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills. Proactive and problem-solving mindset. Excel skills. An active interest in cultural events, media and arts. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
