Ability to work a hybrid schedule after 6 months.
M-F 8am-4:30pm
Location:
Knoxville, TN Description:
Follow up on patient accounts by using multiple EMR and patient charting software
Perform accounts receivable for patient accounts
Follow up on both government and commercial insurance claims and process denials
Answer all complex patient questions regarding denials and outstanding balances
Call insurance companies to follow up on claims status
Skills:
Medical billing experience
Claims processing experience
Commercial insurance experience
Accounts receivable experience
EMR experience
Experience with government insurance
Experience with patient accounts
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Knowledge of UB and 1500 claims strongly preferred
Ability to answer some inbound patient calls regarding more complex claims
Follow up with insurance payers on claims denials
Knowledge of credit balances
Pay:
$15-19/hr depending on experience
