Job Title: Media Specialist
Job Summary:

Effective January 2024, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) implemented a new reporting requirement that impacts millions of businesses. FinCEN estimates that there will be 32.6 million reporting companies as of January 2024, and 5 million new reporting companies each year thereafter. It also estimates that reporting companies will file 6.6 million updated reports in Year 1, and 14.5 million updated reports per year thereafter. A publicity and public awareness campaign will need to reach these companies.
Responsibilities Include:
Conceptualizing, designing, and editing high-quality video content that aligns with established campaign objectives and messaging
Designing and developing animated, motion graphics and visual effects to enhance video content
Collaborating with our content and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive and branded narrative
Managing multiple projects from concept through completion under tight deadlines
Utilizing data-driven insights to inform and optimize visual storytelling
Staying up-to-date with government compliance and the latest industry trends and technologies
Working with other personnel to ensure digital media tactics can be disseminated in English, Spanish, Chinese and possibly other languages
Required Qualifications and Skills:
5+ years of professional experience in video editing and motion graphics design
Proficiency in executing stylized motion media content using video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid, Davinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, or equivalent VFX tools)
Demonstrated experience in creating short-form, promotional branded content and/or explainer videos
Must provide a demo reel with examples
Proven graphic design skills and a keen eye for visual composition
Ability to interpret complex ideas and data into compelling visual narratives
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience working with a team in a collaborative, remote environment
Desired:
Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field
Work Setting and Environment:
Monday - Friday, normal working hours
Work is to be performed remotely
Some travel to FinCEN offices anticipated
