BE PART OF THE CONNECTION
As a Media Ingest Editor, you will ensure that all video and audio are delivered to the right place at the right time, providing our audience with the critical news and weather information they need to navigate their day. You will monitor and adjust live media streams, book and tune satellite and fiber when needed, and ensure that the proper equipment is available to our journalists. You will be part of a collaborative team that produces compelling, timely, and accurate newscasts intended to engage and connect with our local audience.

Required Qualifications
Experience: Some broadcasting experience necessary, such as production assistant or master control operatorEducation: College degree with a major in TV Production preferred or equivalentTechnical Skills: Book satellite and fiber feeds when needed, tune in satellite feeds using the CompuSat system, select proper method of ingestSkills: Oversee the life cycle of media content, delete and retain content upon instruction, save all useable media into archive systemAbilities: Make certain all inbound video and audio meets quality standards by using a Vector Scope and Waveform
