Our journey started way back in the year 2008, and now we have integrated and centralized +90% RE India portfolio. We are working on multiple use cases with a heavy focus on decarbonizing Siemens RE portfolio e.g.: monitoring Siemens’s global Energy and Carbon data, Water.
We envision to be a game changer in the real estate space through technology and in the future we will be working on Active load management via Siemens own solution i.e. Microgrid, Real time Space Management, driving operational efficiency by deep diving into System/Equipment level analysis etc. and many more to come!
Job Title: Mechanical/Energy expert and data analyst
Responsible for: Siemens global portfolio [+1300 locations, +60 countries] energy and carbon monitoring and reporting based on Global standard requirements, For various MEP equipment/system level data analysis, Drive digital transformation projects across Siemens global locations with end to end responsibility. Value driven data insight.
Minimum Year of experience: > 8-10 years in a similar field Qualification: BE/ME/M tech Mechanical; Certification in Energy efficiency topics e.g., Energy Manager or equivalent; HVAC; Data analytics certification [ additional weightage]
Location: Mumbai [ Siemens Kalwa]
Personal Attributes: The applicant must have the ability to organize, prioritize and produce results to meet deadlines and work in close collaboration with customers and stakeholders. Good team-working skills are a must. Able to interact with multiple people from different counties, with different time zone who is having different mindset and expertise level.
Major tasks:
1) Strong understanding of energy and carbon monitoring methodologies, tools, and standards (e.g., ISO 50001, GRI Standards, CDP).
2) Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting for energy and carbon performance.
3) Proficiency in energy modeling and simulation tools.
4) Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating systems.
5) Experience working with a variety of HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and ventilation systems.
6) Extensive knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems and their operation.
7) Experience in data analysis and interpretation for identifying energy and carbon saving opportunities.
8) Ability to develop and implement data-driven solutions for improving MEP system performance.
9) Experience in driving digital transformation projects across Siemens global locations.
10) Familiarity with digital technologies such as IoT, cloud computing, and data analytics.
11) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision making.
12) Excellent communication and presentation skills to translate complex data insights into actionable strategies.
13) Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for value creation.
14) Proven experience in working with large, geographically dispersed teams.
15) Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
16) Strong organizational and time management skills.
17) Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus e.g., German.
18) Experience with Siemens products and technologies.
19) Knowledge of international energy and carbon regulations.
20) Experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
21) Passion for sustainability and driving positive change.
