WITH US YOU WILL
Be in charge of for mechanical packaging, thermal, and vibration Garrett-designed inverters (variable speed drives) as it is integrated into an automotive electrified powertrain assembly. Design to exceed performance, reliability (vibration, thermal, sealing ...), and packaging specifications. Work with our CAD designers and simulation engineers to develop controller 3D design from concept to production status. Coordinate with internal and external resources on electrical/mechanical interactions, tolerancing, thermal management, vibration, sealing robustness, design to cost, and manufacturing. Interact with our Product Line and customers to agree on interfaces and packaging constraints. Participate in DFMEAs to identify and reduce risks. Ownership of overall controller 2D & 3D drawings as well as version management in line with our standard tools and processes.
YOUR PROFILE
Master's Degree in mechatronic or Mechanical Engineering Working experience in mechanical design of electronics for severe applications Proficient in CAD applied to electrical/electronic components Ability to understand, specify and coordinate activities in the fields of thermal, and mechanical simulations Solid level of knowledge of electrification automotive technologies
