System One is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to work on a contract basis onsite in Richland, WA. You will have the chance to work on projects from concept, design, installation, to maintenance.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Performing non-routine and varied engineering assignments in areas such as design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, specification, field tasks and problem resolution.
Ensuring compliance with government, organization and customer engineering standards.
Evaluating, selecting and applying appropriate technical techniques, procedures and criteria using your judgement and creativity.
Developing your knowledge of organization processes and customers.
Working on special projects, as directed.
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
Mechanical Engineering Degree or graduating Senior in an ABET Accredited Mechanical Engineering Program.
Demonstrated knowledge of project management plan development, implementation and administration.
Good business and/or technical expertise in a related capacity.
Proficiency with PC-based applications such as MS Office.
Knowledge and/or use in:
Mechanical, Piping, Equipment Layouts
Machine Design
Metal fabrication (Machining, Sheetmetal, Welding, Forming, etc.…)
SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD design experience would be nice to have
