About the Role
The role is accountable for providing engineering input and support to our current projects including the Joint Operational Fuels System and Combat Water Support System. Responsibilities include leading or collaborating with the team to ensure the successful delivery of engineering aspects. This includes everything from understanding project briefs and designing solutions to crunching numbers, preparing technical specifications, and even conducting research. In addition to this, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the development and delivery of packaged equipment, especially in water-treatment related projects. This involves inspecting new equipment, providing reports on recovered items, and actively participating in integration trials.
This position will require visits to various operational sites.
What We’re Looking For
We're looking for someone with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a solid 3-5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical engineering work. You will be someone who can work independently, taking the initiative when needed, but also a team player when collaboration is required. If you've got past experience in Water Treatment industries, that would be ideal.
Experience with MS Office and AutoCAD is essential along with packages like Hevacomp/Bentley and Windes Micro drainage. Knowledge of 3D design software like Solidworks & PDMS would be a bonus.
