We are looking for a Product Development Engineer with a technical profile to join our team working with our core products like MAGNA.
At Grundfos, we develop state-of-the-art water management technology for both private and commercial use with focus on reliability and sustainability. In Bjerringbro you will join Circulator and Boxed Solution Product Development within our Commercial Building Service division committed to ensure the development of Grundfos´ core products like MAGNA. Here, you will join our Mechanical Team with experienced development engineers, and assistant engineers.
As our new Product Development Engineer, you will together with the team focus on the mechanical components/parts by maintaining the current product program as well as development for future generations.
What is the job about?
You will be a part of an agile team allocated to the mechanical parts of our products.
Your tasks as Product Development Engineer could be related to:
Contribute to technical updates and improvements to the product programs.
Verify design solutions by FEA simulations in Ansys and defining and utilizing tests
Prepare documentation in compliance with legislation, Grundfos processes, standards, and best practice (2D drawings, 3D models, tolerances GPS, tolerance chains, Robust Design, SAP data etc).
Support production e.g., problem solving and act as the link between Development and Production
Contact to suppliers during development phase. Discussing design for manufacturing or assembly
The agile team is to a high degree self-organised. Meaning it will be up to the team itself, including the Scrum Master, to find out how to utilize your experience and skills the best way in relation to the tasks that the team must solve in the sprints to come.

What do you need to apply?
We imagine you …
have as minimum a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar
have a few years of experience with product development preferable from a multi-domain environment. It could be from a similar job, an internship or from projects during your education
have worked with 3D modelling/construction, especially CATIA
have experience in Structural Finite Element Analysis (FEA), including Ansys simulation tools
have knowledge on quality assurance, product compliance and requirement management – we use Doors NG
are familiar with Geometrical Product Specification (GPS)
works effectively with different stakeholders in a large global organisation
Communicate effortlessly in English
