Join our client's start- up and commissioning team in safely verifying Mechanical installation, cleaning, commissioning, maintenance, repair, operating and troubleshooting of industrial power and process mechanical equipment and systems during all commissioning and operational phases or work. responsibilities:
Expertise in commissioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-energy systems such as steam, condensate, lubrication, natural gas, fuel oil, flue gas & emissions handling. Familiar with equipment like steam turbines, combustion turbines, large vertical pumps, large fans, large motor/turbine-driven horizontal pumps, coal, wood, and ash conveying/storage.
Independently execute daily tasks using secure, dependable technical skills.
Assess mechanical drawings and documents, including vendor documents. Rectify for completeness, detail, and accuracy. Collaborate with project supervision and field engineers for as-built drawings.
Adhere to project schedules to attain commissioning goals.
Establish or follow procedures for assigned tasks safely (LOTO).
Oversee personnel or subcontractors as necessary.
Collaborate with vendors to commission equipment.
Provide assistance and collaborate with vendors as needed for equipment commissioning.
Periodically work/train owner's operation and maintenance personnel.
Other assigned duties.
Requirements-
Associates degree in mechanical technology or equivalent job-related experience
Two (2) years of experience equals one (1) year of college
Four (4) years of work experience required
Operational and maintenance of mechanical system applications
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
working weekends qualifications:
