We are working with a company that keeps the Cargill site in Blair, NE operational. This company is the backbone of the facility as they repair and maintain all the equipment on the large property. This would involving working on lots of pumps, valves, HVAC, and various other duties. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to gain knowledge in the maintenance or mechanical field.

Description:
Responsible for all preventative maintenance and emergency maintenance on equipment used for processing corn into corn syrup and cornmeal
Will be doing routing greasing on equipment
Frequent pump and conveyor repair and maintenance (changing seals, valves, piping, etc)
Motor alignments and bearing maintenance, changing fluids, and swapping gear boxes
Use of Hand/Power Tools
Ability to be on elevated spaces
Wage:
$20/hr to start off
Raise after 90 days of employment based off performance
Relevant experience may call for higher starting wage
Tenured candidates in the position are making in the mid 30s
Schedule:
Choice of Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday
7am to 5pm
Work Environment:
It is an industrial processing building so it is loud, can be hot, and this position will be working in all areas of the building (including some outdoors work).
Generally work with 1 other person on major projects, but most PMs are done independently.
Qualifications:
Mathematical Skill
Prior use of Tape Measures
Some kind of basic mechanic work in the past
Reliable Transportation to and From Work
Must Be Willing to Submit to Post-Offer, Pre-Employment Background Screen, Drug Test, and Motor Vehicle Record Check
