Your New Role:
WBD Integration team is seeking a Senior Manager Master Data Management Operations who will be responsible for providing technical expertise for supporting and enhancing the Reltio MDM solutions across the WBD enterprise. We are specifically looking for a candidate with solid technical skills and experience in implementing the MDM solutions for Customer, Titles, Reference data and who has managed integrations into/out of the MDM solutions. In-depth knowledge, configuration experience with the Reltio MDM platform would be ideal for this position. The candidate's primary job functions include but are not limited to the day-to-day configuration/development of the Reltio platform.
As the Senior Manager of Master Data Management, you will be responsible for leading and managing the MDM function within the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define data governance standards, implement data quality processes, and ensure that master data is accurate, consistent, and reliable. Your role will also involve developing and maintaining data management strategies and policies.
The candidate must possess strong communication and analytical skills to effectively work with peers within the Enterprise Technology Group, various external partners/vendors, and business users to determine requirements and translate them into technical solutions. The candidate must have the ability to independently complete individual tasks in a dynamic environment to achieve departmental and company goals.
Mentor the onshore and offshore team members is key to the success of this role. You are responsible for defining the MDM road maps and designing and providing innovative solutions to the business.
Your Role Accountabilities:
Participate in research and make recommendations on the integration of products and services. Develop and mentor existing team members. Educate other team members and govern tool usage. Work with the application teams to enhance the operations related services and provide monthly job metrics to measure effectiveness. Closely work with the projects and support them during testing and stabilization of services. Plan and support 24 * 7 operations model by leveraging the teams across the globe. MDM Solution Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to assess data management needs, define data architecture, and design scalable MDM solutions that align with business objectives. Data Governance: Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures to maintain data quality, consistency, and integrity. Define data ownership, stewardship, and accountability roles. Data Modeling: Create and maintain data models, taxonomies, and hierarchies to represent master data domains accurately. Define relationships between different data entities. Data Quality Management: Implement data quality controls, validation rules, and data cleansing processes to identify and rectify data anomalies, duplicates, and inconsistencies. Metadata Management: Manage metadata related to master data, including data definitions, business rules, and data lineage. Ensure that metadata is accurately documented and maintained. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, resolve data-related issues, and support data-driven initiatives and projects. Change Management: Lead change management efforts to promote data governance best practices and ensure the adoption of MDM processes and technologies across the organization. Continuous Improvement: Monitor and measure data quality and MDM system performance. Identify opportunities for process optimization and enhancement.
Qualifications & Experiences:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field Relevant certifications in MDM or data management. Experience in implementing MDM solutions in large organizations. A minimum of 10 years of experience in implementing MDM solutions. A minimum of 5 years of experience in architecting MDM solutions Leadership/People Management experienceProven experience in designing and implementing MDM solutions in an enterprise environment. Strong knowledge of MDM platforms and technologies (e.g., Reltio MDM, Informatica MDM, SAP Master Data Governance). Understanding of data modeling, data integration, and data quality best practices. Familiarity with data governance frameworks and methodologies. Project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
**Please note that this is a hybrid position, which requires reporting onsite 3 times per week.
