Roles and Responsibilities:
Role Summary/Purpose
Processes materials into finished or semi-finished components by performing the following duties.
Essential Responsibilities
Read work orders, formulas, and processing charts to determine specifications and sequence ofoperations;
Weigh or measure specified ingredients and binding agents;
Mix and grind material;
Load, unload, monitor operation, and adjust controls of various processing machines andequipment and perform similar operations to prepare, combine, or change structure of materials toproduce compositions with specific component properties;
Clean materials as required prior to processing operations; Inspect, measure, and test components according to specifications;
Enclose components in housings; Stamp or etch identifying information on finished component;
Count, sort, and weigh processed items; Maintain manual or computerized records of productionsand inspection data;
Must Adhere to and follow all safety procedures, i.e. lock-out/tag-out, report safety concerns, use appropriate PPE as required, and follow similar safety practices;
Be responsible for meeting all quality assurance standards of the product; Perform other duties asassigned
Qualifications/Requirements
High School Diploma/GED; 1 to 2 years of job related experience and/or training in arelated production environment.
Requires the ability to read, intrepret and follow written procedures, i.e. AWI (Aviation Work Instructions),
Desired Characteristics
Ability to work overtime as needed."
