About the role / Segment
As a MBSE Architect, you work within the Professional Services team, here you work productively with Consultants, Architects, Project Managers, and other internal & external interfaces to ensure that the customer succeeds in their objectives.
You are responsible for leading the translation of business requirements into specific process aligned designs using Siemens PLM Software solutions. The solution design will require extensive knowledge of the industry domains, MBSE tools and PLM product expertise (preferably Teamcenter), best practices of the subject domain and then the technical leadership to bring this together and apply a solution to a complex customer project.
Success is a simple solution that delivers value to the customer quickly enabling rapid customer adoption and room to expand with further capabilities.
Area of responsibility
Support modeling of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)/System Digitalization (SD) product definition business process and provide MBSE/SD process consulting to organizations within and outside of Siemens Digital Industries Software
Define best-practice use cases for MBSE implementation, document solution catalog and provide best-practice consulting to customers using a suite of Siemens software tools
Design system architectures for various applications using System Modeling Workbench (SMW) for Teamcenter (or similar tools such as Cameo or Rhapsody)
Convert modeled requirements and architectures into customer presentation data including PowerPoints, video snippets, etc. to demonstrate Siemens capabilities to customers
Enable creation of digital threads, digital twin using Siemens software suite like SMW, Teamcenter, NX, Simcenter for customer presentations
Collaborate with academics from globally reputed universities to author joint research publications for systems engineering topics like functional analysis, architecture development
Your qualifications
Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Science or Engineering, Computer Studies or similar
Understands and has demonstrable years of experience working within systems engineering role or similar, preferably in A&D or Automotive industries.
Solution requirements analysis and management
Complex system architecture modeling and simulation
Standards based modeling applications in SysML and/or ARCADIA; and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
