Job SummaryDenver Health Medical Center is currently recruiting for a part-time (3-4days/week) Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join our group of 18+physicians and 30+ advanced care providers practicing in Denver, CO. Theideal candidate will be board certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine and have aminimum of 3-5 years' experience. Our OB/Gyn team is a single integratedobstetrical service that averages 3,600 delivers per year, 40,000prenatal visits, and 10,000 ultrasounds a year. All high-risk women areseen in the Denver Health Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic. Denver Health isan essential teaching site for the University of Colorado School ofMedicine, and the position includes an unmodified appointment at theUniversity of Colorado. Residents at the University of Colorado spendapproximately one third of their time at Denver Health, and third and UCSchool of Medicine students do rotations at Denver Health.The position does not have the expectation of participation in in-house,on-call duties.Our Denver Health obstetrics team has a strong infrastructure for clinicalresearch, having been a participant in the MFMU during the last cycle. Ourteam also has a strong interest in perinatal mental health and addictionmedicine in collaboration with our colleagues in psychiatry. We currently havemultiple funded studies related to clinical obstetrics and perinatal mentalhealth. We have an active and growing perinatal addiction medicine service,with a family medicine/addiction medicine specialist who attends in the HighRisk OB clinic. Education:Doctorate Degree Graduate of an accredited medical school Required
