Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Materials Planning Teams are responsible for the plans, schedules, and monitoring of the movement of material through the production cycle. They determine quantity and order date for materials to meet production or engineering schedules, initiate purchase or production requisitions compliant with supply agreements, and develop the schedule to be used in the production facility based on forecasts and historical analysis. The Team develops specifications for new contract orders as well as forecasts and plans for labor requirements. They provide timely and accurate input on supplier performance and may be asked to participate in higher level supplier performance reviews with the strategic sourcing team. They also monitor cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.

Responsibilities
Lead team of Materials Planning Analyst in developing production schedules to support customer demand and overall business strategy.
Work cross-functionally with all support functions to optimize execution of orders, capacity and material planning to collaboratively meet KPI targets for DOH, Inventory Turns, Past Due Reductions and STR.
Develop, report and track KPI’s.
Responsible for interfacing with distribution and customer service to ensure customer needs are met and on time delivery achieved.
POC and prompt attention to customer delivery / supply escalations.
Support NPI to ensure on time execution of projects while controlling inventory and customer / production impact.
Lead weekly Sales & Operations Execution process to drive actions cross-functionally in support of meeting customer demand efficiently.
Lead daily Materials Planning Tier three and cascade escalations accordingly.
Resource planning to ensure materials planning support is available for weekly production, over-time / weekends and annual physical inventory activities.
Working with inter-co supply chain team for Forecasting, cross-plant demand and scheduling alignment, vendor planning for components, shortage tracking

Bachelor’s degree in business management / Leadership or Supply Chain
12 + yrs. with People Mgmt. skills in lieu of degree
Experience in Materials Planning, Excel, SAP and analytical skills

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $70,000 – $105,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
