Description: Receives various types of materials, parts, raw stock, assemblies, nonproductive supplies, stationery and photographic supplies and equipment, checking items against computer systems, requisitions or other documents to determine if quantity, weight, size, type, make, part number and general description agree; routes items to inspection if required; stocks items in correct location for proper preservation and dispersement; distributes items to using department upon request; segregates over/under, damaged or obsolete items and disposes as instructed; tracks and maintains maximum and minimum inventories, notifying supervision of discrepancies if items fall below minimum; makes periodic inventory counts by physically checking articles for quantity, correct identification, configuration and shelf life.
Packs parts, assemblies, supplies and materials, properly identifies, and ships in accordance with Company, customer or government specifications and requirements; moves material, loads, unloads, checks and blocks crated or unpackaged raw stock, parts, supplies, assemblies and nonproductive materials on trucks, trailers, railroad cars and aircraft, utilizing proper material handling equipment and procedures.
Operates a computer workstation and must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and inventory control systems.
Reviews and verifies quantities of materials for accuracy.
PERFORMS SUCH RELATED DUTIES AS:
Prepares all required reports and forms, and performs other related clerical duties.
Operates state-of-the-art and conventional office and warehouse equipment such as electric forklifts, tugs, scooters, weighing and counting scales, hand tools, cutoff saws, and precision measuring equipment.
Performs various material handling tasks in support of material movement that may require a single person and/or two persons lifting of small, medium, and large components compliant with safety guidelines.
Ability to obtain and maintain Company licenses, certifications, and training as required for assigned tasks as required by the Company or governmental agencies.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ANY SHIFT
Basic Qualifications:
Must have a minimum one year of working experience in material handling.
Experience operating conventional office and warehouse equipment such as electric forklifts, tugs, scooters, weighing and counting scales, and hand tools.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with SFM (Shop Floor Management)
- Experience with SAP - Systems Application Program

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
"The base range for this position in California is $22.05 - 31.93.
