Description: In this role the candidate will be required to perform the following tasks:
• They will sign for incoming and outgoing material as required, sort, tag, and route material to correct destinations, processing all paperwork and computer inputs, etc. ensuring transaction completion.
• Prior to shipping they will need to check proper containerization and prescribed labeling and apply labels as delineated by procedures when required.
• They will receive material, stock material, accumulate, kit, work disposal of obsolete material.
• The candidate will need to have the ability to use display terminals, conduct planned and unplanned material count, maintain record accuracy utilizing appropriate systems and tooling.
• They will need to check material against shipping requisitions and other documentation as appropriate, assign serial numbers to shipments, keep necessary records, crate, pack or box a variety of small and large equipment.
• Take measures for board sizes, cut boards, assemble, and make boxes, strap, mark, stencil, weigh, disassembly containers, block, etc.
• Operate all types and sizes of gas, gasoline and battery industrial trucks such as heavy duty, fork, platform, clamp, high lift, overhead cranes, etc.
• Move and handle material, equipment, tools, stock and unstock packaged products; load and unload trucks, trailers, etc.
• Work in yard, warehouse, stockroom, shop areas, receiving and shipping docks, etc.
• Change batteries, replace gas tanks, check fuel, air and water in vehicle as required.
• Maintain appropriate ESH and quality logs on equipment and appropriate activities as required.
• Conduct required audit, follow general and process procedures when carrying out or executing an assigned task.
Basic Qualifications:
• Effective Oral and written communication.
• Ability to perform physical demands of position.
• High School degree or equivalency.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records.
• Certifiable for industrial truck operation.
• Certifiable for handling of chemicals.
• Ability to sort and count material.
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of standard measuring devices such as micrometers, scales, and gauges.
• Demonstrated capability in the use of standard hand power and bench tools.
• Computer aptitude.
• Ability to function individually and as a team player.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications.
• Keep facilities, material and work area orderly, exercising care in their use, maintaining general
good housekeeping practices, and conforming to all ethics, health, safety, compliance and quality requirements.
• Qualified candidate must be able to obtain and
maintain a DoD Security Clearance. Obtaining a security clearance requires US Citizenship.

Desired Skills:
• Strong computer and verbal communication.
• Comfortable using data bases to store and retrieve information.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Previous experience operating all types and sizes of gas, gasoline and battery industrial trucks such as heavy duty, fork, platform, clamp, high lift, overhead cranes, etc.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

The base range for this position in New York is $19.00 - $26.47.
