CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Master Scheduler supporting a shared services PMO. You will be a key member of the PMO team on a dynamic, fast-paced cybersecurity project. The Master Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for a project that includes development work and multiple concurrent implementations. You will work directly with senior leadership to identify risks and integrate Agile methodologies.
This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to be in our Fairfax, VA office two days per week.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Lead in the creation and maintenance of the project integrated master schedule in accordance with the government task order by collaborating with the architecture, development and service delivery teams.
• Read and understand the task order and have a strong ability to demonstrate its relationship to the master schedule for all agencies and on all activities.
• Ability to integrate IMS with Agile methodologies, aligning the master schedule to the product releases.
• Review schedule activities, status and results with PM and Service Delivery Managers as it relates to solution build and cutover of 70+ government agencies.
• Create and update resource loaded schedules using MS Project.
• Implement baseline changes into the IMS by collaborating with applicable stakeholders.
• Apply recognized industry best scheduling practices to develop and maintain program schedules.
• Identify, develop and implement processes to improve scheduling and coordination efforts.
• Support weekly, monthly and quarterly report requests as it relates to the IMS.
• Lead recurring IMS review with the client and oversee internal prep sessions as needed.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.
• 3-5+ years of experience.
• Experience in creating and managing resource loaded schedules, Gantt charts and dependencies.
• Knowledge and experience in schedule quality analysis.
• Knowledge and experience performing critical path analysis of schedules within MS Project or other tools.
• Ability to develop fully networked schedules using predecessors and successors along with effective activity duration affording discreet progress measurement.
• Outstanding reporting skills, e.g. graphical presentation and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (charts, pivot tables).
• Advanced MS Project skills (knowledge of macros), including the ability to create custom views in MS Project, and an understanding of the relationships among WBS/IMS/PWS/CLIN in Federal contracting.
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail coupled with effective analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
• Ability to establish working relations at all organizational levels and demonstrate ability to diplomatically and effectively deal with government officials and program office stakeholders.
• Self-motivator with ability to work as part of a team or independently with little supervision or direction.
• Ability to balance and prioritize many diverse tasks at once.
• Experience in establishing new processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; resource must have an attention to detail and be comfortable thoroughly reviewing their work before submission.
Desired qualifications
• Scheduling experience with a strong project management background and understanding of project management processes.
• Experience integrating SELC review gates into an IMS supporting project lifecycle implementation teams.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $74,600 - $143,700.
